Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is set to embark on a three-day visit to Iraq from September 11 to 13, which will include stops in Baghdad, the Kurdistan Region, and Basra, according to Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadegh.

In a statement to Shafaq News, Ambassador Al-e Sadegh revealed that President Pezeshkian's itinerary includes multiple key destinations across Iraq.

The visit will feature discussions on a range of issues and is expected to culminate in the signing of over 30 agreements between the two nations. These agreements will address various sectors, including economic, security, trade, and water resources.

The visit follows an official invitation extended by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. After completing his engagements in Iraq, President Pezeshkian will travel to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly.
