KRG Allocates 600 Million Dinars for Infrastructure Projects in Ranya
In a significant development, the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism in the Kurdistan Region has announced a substantial investment of approximately 600 million dinars for a range of infrastructure projects in the Ranya subdistrict of Sulaymaniyah province.
The ministry revealed today that these funds will be fully sourced from the revenue generated through land sales in Ranya. The financial allocations will support several key projects aimed at enhancing local infrastructure.
The planned projects include the paving of roads and the installation of concrete. Specific allocations include:
- 63.6 million dinars for road projects both within and outside the subdistrict, including the installation of traffic signs.
- 99.5 million dinars for paving various roads in the Ronaki neighborhood.
- 90.5 million dinars for laying concrete on several streets in the Rizgary neighborhood.
- 99.2 million dinars for paving streets in the Sharwani neighborhood.
- 99.4 million dinars for road paving within the Ashti neighborhood.
These initiatives are expected to significantly improve road conditions and overall infrastructure in the Ranya area, contributing to the region's development and quality of life.
