Iraqi Security Forces Launch Decisive Airstrike Against ISIS in Saladin Province
The Iraqi Security Forces delivered a significant blow to ISIS remnants in Saladin province on Friday, successfully targeting and destroying three terrorist hideouts in the Tuz district. The Security Media Cell reported the successful operation on Saturday, emphasizing the effectiveness of the airstrike, which was carried out by the "Air Falcons" using Cessna Caravan aircraft.
The operation, which took place at 6:00 am, was based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security. The airstrike resulted in the complete destruction of the hideouts and the elimination of all ISIS militants present.
These locations, according to security sources, were actively used by ISIS militants as bases for planning and launching attacks against security forces and civilians.
