President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Iraqi National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji on Sunday afternoon, as part of his ongoing discussions in Baghdad.

The meeting focused on the security landscape in Iraq, the threat of terrorism, and the challenges facing Iraq as a result of regional conflicts.

Both parties stressed the importance of collaboration and coordination between the Iraqi Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to tackle security issues. They both recognized the need for all parties to work together in order to maintain peace and stability in the country.

The President expressed his thanks and recognition to the National Security Advisor and his team for their collaboration with the relevant parties in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as their dedication to upholding security and stability.

Mr. Al-Araji emphasized the interconnectedness of peace, security, and stability in the Kurdistan Region and throughout Iraq. He commended President Nechirvan Barzani for his national leadership in fostering unity and addressing challenges.
