President Nechirvan Barzani Issues Directive for the Creation of Three New Subdistricts
In a Regional Decree announced on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, President Nechirvan Barzani declared the formation of three new Subdistricts within the Duhok Governorate: Sharia, Miserik, and Tanahi.
This Decree was issued by the President of the Kurdistan Region in compliance with the Presidency Law and in response to a Communiqué from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. To this end, it will be executed in accordance with the Provincial Law of the Kurdistan Region.
The creation of these three new Subdistricts in Duhok Governorate will enhance public services and offer additional administrative resources for the residents of these regions.
