Speaking via the (X) platform, Dizayee expressed his thoughts on the meeting, stating, "Had an insightful meeting at UNGA78 in NY with Deputy Assistant Secretary Taylor from State Dept NEA." He went on to emphasize, "We reaffirmed the robust KRI-USA relations and our continued support. Emphasized the need for constructive dialogue between Erbil-Baghdad to resolve all outstanding issues."

On the U.S. side, the Department of State's Near Eastern Affairs Bureau conveyed their perspective via the same platform, saying, "Deputy Assistant Secretary Taylor confirmed longstanding support for the KRG in her meeting with Safeen Dizayee, urging continued dialogue with Baghdad as the path to ensuring a strong, resilient Iraqi Kurdistan Region within a sovereign Iraq."
