President Massoud Barzani welcomed the British Ambassador to Iraq, Mark Bryson-Richardson, in a meeting held on Sunday in the Salahaddin region. During the meeting, President Barzani conveyed his congratulations to the British people on the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III.

The discussion between the two dignitaries also focused on the political situation in Iraq and the need to improve the relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the two sides for the betterment of their nations.

Furthermore, the leaders discussed the internal situation in the Kurdistan Region and the significance of conducting the upcoming elections on time. The meeting emphasized the need for peaceful and fair elections in the region.

The British Consul General in Erbil, Rosy Cave, also attended the meeting. The discussions underscored the significance of maintaining and strengthening bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Iraq.
