Barzani expressed his admiration and respect for their pure souls and saluted the injured and victims who had to live with their families in the most painful and suffering conditions, deprived of even receiving treatment.

The president also highlighted the importance of Balisan, Sheikh Wasanan, and Wadi Khoshnawati in the struggle against the injustice and arrogance of the former regime. These areas were a center and oasis for Peshmerga and the revolutionaries of Kurdistan, and their people suffered a black campaign by the regime, which bombed them with chemical weapons.

On this anniversary, Barzani emphasized the need to provide better services in all fields to this region and its patriotic people. He pledged to give more attention to the area and ensure that its people are properly cared for.
