President Masoud Barzani at the Kurdish Diaspora Conference: Conflict with regimes should not lead to hostility to peoples
The Kurdish Diaspora Conference began its work on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in the city of Erbil under the auspices of President Massoud Barzani.
During the congress, President Barzani delivered a speech to the audience and members of the Conference. In the speech, President Barzani congratulated The Kurdish Diaspora Conference on its closure in Erbil and wished success to the Conefrence, declaring that the purpose of the Conference was to organize and define the Kurdish mission in a way that would serve the people of Kurdistan.
He stressed that the Kurdish diaspora is an important national asset in supporting the people of Kurdistan, and that the people of Kurdistan have never chosen to wage war and have always defended their existence.
During his speech, President Barzani called for a peaceful and democratic solution to the Kurdish issue in all parts of Kurdistan, and that war would in no way solve the Kurdish problem nor any other issue. And he warned that conflicts with regimes should not lead to hostility to peoples.
President Barzani reiterated that the people of Kurdistan are proud of their culture of religious and ethnic coexistence and must preserve that ancient culture. President Barzani hopes that The Kurdish Diaspora bring together Kurdish patriots, and to respect the laws of the countries in which they live. He stressed the need to encourage their young people and children to educate and not to forget the history and language of their people.
In the speech, President Barzani stressed the need to try to find the best friends for the Kurdish people abroad and in the parliaments of their countries to support the recognition of the genocide and the crimes committed against the Kurdish people. He also called on the Kurdish community to support the Kurdistan Region.
At the end of his speech, President Barzani commemorated the martyrs of Garmian and Davar Makhmouri in the past few days, who were martyred by the ISIS terrorists, and assured the people of Kurdistan that the martyrs will be avenged and their blood will not be wasted.
