The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, inaugurated a number of silos and factories dedicated to the wheat market project for farmers in Erbil Governorate.
"In less than a year, we are back to inaugurate the $250m wheat marketing project in Erbil. A great new facility to market our farmers' crops, create thousands of jobs and ensure our homeland's food security," the prime minister wrote on Twitter.
At the opening of a silo and factory dedicated to marketing wheat to farmers, the Prime Minister delivered a speech, noting that it was a pledge from the Kurdistan Regional Government, which did not rely solely on a single source of income.
The Prime Minister stressed that in addition to being able to meet Kurdistan's needs, we want to be able to export Kurdistan's local products.
Promises are kept to serve Kurdistani people.
