The EU foreign policy chief is visiting the Kurdistan Region, and a KRG representative to the EU says he will meet with President Barzani and the KRG presidency.

The European Union's envoy to the European Union, Dlawar Ajgayi, told Rudaw Media Network that EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell will visit the Kurdistan Region on Tuesday, and he will convene with President Masoud Barzani, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

"There is a comprehensive agreement between Baghdad and the European Union, and the Kurdistan Region is part of that agreement. The EU's foreign policy chief will visit Baghdad and Erbil to implement the agreement," the KRG representative to the European Union said.

"Joseph Burrell had previously wanted to visit Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, but was delayed because of the Coronavirus pandamic," Dlawar Ajghi added.
