Khatibzadeh: Iran's representations in Afghanistan are open and doing their business
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced that the Iranian embassy in Kabul and the Iranian Consulate General in Herat are open and operating, Tasnim News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Concerning the latest developments regarding the activities of the representations of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan, Khatibzadeh said, onTuesday, that the Iranian embassy in Kabul is fully open and active.
He also talked about the situation of the Iranian Consulate General in Herat, and said that the Iranian Consulate General in Herat is also carrying out its work.
Some media outlets announced on Tuesday that only the embassies of Russia, China and Pakistan remain open in Kabul and operate.
