International coalition arrests ISIS emir in eastern Syria

On Saturday, the International Coalition forces arrested an ISIS emir, during a raid on a house he rented in the town of Muhaimida in Deir Ezzor countryside, eastern Syria.

Four helicopters and a warplane participated in the operation, two helicopters landed and soldiers spread on the ground and arrested the emir after they clashed with him for about 40 minutes, while they blew up the house before they left the area.

Local sources indicated that the Syrian Democratic Forces, accompanied by the “International Coalition”, arrested a leader of the organization, during an airdrop operation on his house in the town of Abu Khashab in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor. In addition to his possession of weapons and ammunition.

The "rapid intervention" forces within the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a person affiliated with the organization by raiding a house in the town of Thiban in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, with the support of the "international coalition" aircraft.

The United States of America had confirmed the continuation of its military forces in Syria within the ranks of the international coalition against ISIS, and to help the SDF forces in eastern Syria in the task of finishing off the organization.
