On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, President Masoud Barzani sent a congratulatory message to the Muslims of Kurdistan, Iraq and the world.

"On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all the Muslims of Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, and I send my congratulations to the families of the honorable martyrs, the valiant Kurdistan Peshmerga and all dear Kurdish citizens," president Barzani wrote in a statement.

"I hope that this Eid will be a source of goodness, blessing and safety for the people of Kurdistan, and that brotherhood, harmony and coexistence will take root in our country, and that peace and stability will prevail in the region and the world," president Barzani added.
