The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, received on Saturday, Cardinal Louis Raphael I Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, and an accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world praised the experience and peaceful coexistence between the different ethnicities in the Kurdistan Region, which is an example of the growing tolerance and protection of the rights of components in the region.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of promoting a culture of coexistence and harmony between religious and ethnic groups in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and called on Christians abroad to return to their places and work in Kurdistan, and to ensure that the Kurdistan Regional Government provides them with all necessary facilities and protects their rights.
