PM Barzani: KRG ready to compensate the victims of the Shariya camp
After a fire broke out in Shriya camp yesterday evening, injuring a number of displaced Yazidis, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, published a tweet in Kurdish langauge on Twitter in which he expressed his grief over the event and pledged to compensate those affected.
"I am saddened by the news of the fire at the city camp in Duhok. I spoke to the governor and reaffirmed the full support of the regional government for providing for the needs and compensation of the victims." Barzani wrote on his Twitter account.
"I also ask the volunteers to provide more support for the camp." He added.
