Kurdistan: Schools to Remain Closed Except for 12th Graders
Speaking to BasNews, Abdulsalam Dollamari, head of education and higher education committee in the Kurdistan Region's parliament, pointed out that the schools will not open until the Coronavirus Task Force introduces new protective measures.
According to the lawmaker, 12th graders will go back to school in accordance with the anti-COVID-19 restrictions.
Meanwhile, Jawhar Fatah, President of Salahaddin University, told BasNews on Wednesday that universities and institutes will open on 28 March.
He noted that the number of coronavirus infections within the universities and institutes is not high as the official guidelines are followed.
