Kurdistan: Over 1,000 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Two Days
According to a report from KRG’s Health Ministry, two patients also died over the past day, while 231 recovered from the disease.
On Wednesday, the ministry had confirmed 541 new cases, the highest daily infection rate since 20 November 2020.
The total number of recorded cases since the onset of the pandemic in Kurdistan Region has reached 114,510, from which 106,323 have recovered so far.
The virus has killed 3,579 people, and there remain 4,608 active cases across the autonomous region, according to the latest updates.
