Iraq Rejects Forcible Deportation of Refugees from Europe: FM
ERBIL - Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has made it clear that his country would reject forcible deportation of Kurdish and Iraqi refugees from European countries.

Speaking to Pishti-News during his official visit to Athens, the capital of Greece, the Iraqi foreign minister pointed out that he would meet with the Greek Minister of Immigration, but refuted rumors that the possibility of deportation of refugees will be discussed during his meeting.

Hussein reminded that even if such talks are brought up by the European sides, "Iraq's policy is clear, which is that we do not accept [forcible] deportation by other countries."

The Iraqi top diplomat, who is in Greece at the official invitation of his Greek counterpart, with whom Hussein is expected to exchange views on the strengthening of commercial, political and economic relations between the two countries, as they enjoy their historical relations in this regard.
