ERBIL — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Thursday received a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) politburo in Erbil.

The guests congratulated Barzani upon the formation of his new cabinet of the KRG, and reiterated party’s full support for the success of the cabinet agenda.

Barzani reiterated that, despite the fact that the KDP is the largest faction at the parliament and leading the government, but his cabinet remains committed to serving all the people of Kurdistan Region and represent their will entirely.

The Kurdish prime minister briefed the KDP politburo about his recent visit to Baghdad which helped the beginning of a new round of talks with the federal government of Iraq in hopes of resolving prolonged disputes based on the Constitution and in line with the interests of the people.
