ERBIL — The Kurdistan Regional Government is ready to offer every assistance possible in response to the deadly incident of ferry sinking in Mosul’s Tigris river, Prime Minister Barzani said.

He also sent condolences to the family of the victims and wished “speedy recovery” for those wounded in the incident.

The Kurdish premier said all KRG offices are on alert to respond to the needs in the process of finding the bodies or treating the injured.

Latest updates confirmed the death toll has rose to 90 people, with many others still missing.
