ERBIL — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has announced four days as Newroz Holidays this month.

According to a statement from KRG Spokesperson Safin Dizayee, the Kurdish New Year holidays begins on 20th March till 23rd.

Nawroz falls on 21st March when Kurds around the world celebrate the beginning of a new year with the first day of Spring.

During this month, as Dizayi said, three other days are also announced holidays: 5th, 11th and 14th.
