Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (cabinet.gov.krd) - Kurdistan Regional Government Spokesperson Safeen Dizayee issued a statement on false press reports published on yesterday’s meeting of the Kurdistan Regional Government Oil and Gas Council.

Below is the text of the KRG spokesperson’s statement:

Regarding yesterday’s meeting of the KRG Oil and Gas Council, some media outlets published baseless news and press reports.

It was a regular meeting and what was reported by some news outlets did not reflect the reality, but it was false reporting.

As it has always reiterated, the Kurdistan Regional Government reaffirms its commitment to resolve issues and disputes with the Iraqi Federal Government through dialogue.
