ERBIL — The annual winter festival in Kurdistan Region is set for Sunday, 10 February.

The festival, including skiing on Korek Mountain, is organized by Soran Directorate of Tourism.

Head of the directorate told BasNews that over 30 tourism agencies from Kurdistan, Iraq and other countries are taking part in this year’s event.

He said a large number of tourists are expected to visit the winter resort of Korek Mountain this year.
