KRG Health Ministry Makes Clarifications on H1N1 Flu Case
The ministry clarified in a statement that the current H1N1 virus is different from the swine influenza that broke out in June, 2009, adding that a special vaccine, in the meantime, has been developed.
However, it pointed out that the H1N1 is a seasonal flu and it usually breaks out across the globe in certain times of the year, urging people to keep washing their hands from time to time during the day.
Concerning an alleged outbreak of the virus in the Kurdistan Region, the ministry pointed out that the medical condition of the infected ones is currently stable.
