A source in Anbar province said that "significant" number of insurgents of " Daash " were killed by rocket launchers in the center and south of Ramadi.

The source told “Shafaq News " , that “ the army and police forces launched a large-scale military to track " Daash " dens in a number of neighborhoods in central and southern Ramadi”.

He added that “a large number of Daash militants were killed after bombing by rocket launchers that targeted militants in their gatherings in neighborhoods that did not calm down for several hours.”

Activists also stressed that a new wave of families’ displacement took place from Ramadi to safer areas .

Armed anti-government militants , including the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria hace launched widespread attacks in Anbar and areas close to it to control the land in an unprecedented challenge to the Iraqi government since the departure of U.S. forces in late 2011.
