A huge fire broke out today at 8:00 AM in one of the private oil refineries near Qushtaba sub- district on Kirkuk – Erbil highway.


Several fire trucks have rushed to the scene to put out the flames in the oil basin

The fire reportedly broke out due to an electric spark and no human losses reported in the incident, yet huge material damage estimated for the owner.
