The President of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Sunday left Erbil at the head of a senior delegation to visit the Jordanian capital, Amman, in an official visit lasting several days.



King Abdulla II has invited President Barzani to visit Amman for talks on developing economic and cultural relations between the two sides, Kurdistan presidency website reported.

Jordan's King Abdullah II received on Tuesday in Amman Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani, who began an official visit to the Jordanian capital last several days.

The king of Jordan, stressed during the meeting the strength of the fraternal relations that gathers Jordan and Iraq in various fields, as well as the support of Hashemite Kingdom for efforts made to enhance the security and stability of Iraq and national reconciliation between all components of the Iraqi people."
