The Presidency of the Kurdistan Regional Ministerial Council has congratulated workers of Kurdistan today in commemoration of World Labor Day.

A statement published by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) says they will continue to serve workers and the social classes that played a big role in the reconstruction of the Kurdistan Region.

According to the statement, the KRG will work to make a suitable working environment, and try to offer more job opportunities in the region.

“The KRG plans to assist workers in receiving their rights and focus on training them based on an international standard,” the statement read.

In recent years, the KRG has provided several projects for youth and university graduates in order to pave the way for their careers and finding job opportunities.

In addition to this the KRG has also encouraged the private sector to create more job opportunities in the region.
