President Masoud Barzani attended the opening of the annual international book fair, alongside a number of officials and foreign guests in Sami Abdul Rahman Park in Erbil. Almada hosted the fair for publishing and printing in cooperation with Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of culture.

In the 8th international book fair, publishing companies from 40 different countries contributed and more than 250 various organizations attended the fair. Books in Kurdish, Arabic and English languages are showcased with discounts available on various books. The fair will continue for 10 days.
