The Arizona-produced helicopters will be used by the KRG’s Ministry of the Interior. Ethnic Kurds live in northern Iraq, Turkey and Syria.

MD has also made helicopters for the U.S. military, including Special Forces, as well those abroad and police departments both foreign and domestic.

MD is was acquired by Patriarch Partners LLC in 2005. The private equity holding company is headed by Lynn Tilton. She also serves as MD’s CEO.
