KRG’s Ministry for Peshmarga Affairs to Attend NATO Conference
According to a statement by KRG’s Ministry for Peshmarga Affairs, a copy of which was received by Peyamner News Agency, early morning Jabbar Yawar, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Peshmarga left Kurdistan to Brussels-Belgium to participate in a NATO conference.
“The various forces participate in the conference are supposed to discuss war against terrorism and security issues in the region while assessing the role of NATO in the Middle East security matters”, read the statement.
The two-day conference will reportedly start on November 14, 2013 with the participation of army chiefs from many different countries. Kurdistan’s Secretary-General of the Ministry of Peshmarga, Jabbar Yawar, is officially invited to the event by NATO.
