Iraq denies that Syrian regime has moved its arsenal of chemical weapons into the country
In a statement to the press on Saturday, Sep. 14, Mosawi said that some Syrian opposition parties claimed that the Syrian regime has moved some of its arsenal of chemical weapons into Iraq to distort Iraq's reputation, whose people were victims of such prohibited weapons.
He added that, "At a time we deny these reports in whole and consider it cheap propaganda, we call on such sides to work for the benefit of Syrian people, rather than become a mouthpiece for other countries whose aim to harm Iraq.
Mosawi concluded that Iraq is against obtaining such weapons and others of mass destruction anywhere in the world and under any pretext.
