An Iranian semi-officials news agency tied to the government published in its website a report about Iraq’s political situation and insisted on the necessity of current President of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani’s nomination for Iraq president.

Bolton News, an Iranian semi-official news agency explained the necessity of President Barzani to be elected as President of Iraq after Talabani’s long absence. It describe Barzani’s role in resorting peace and stability as positive.

The report also declared that Iraq needs a charismatic president in order to hold the country united and to maintain peace and stability not only in Iraq but also in Syria. It insisted on President Barzani’s nomination for Iraq President as necessary step towards restoring peace and a chance for Kurds to remain in political environment of Iraq.

“Masoud Barzani has an important influence on Kurdish people in Syria, so he can also help maintain peace in Syria and consequently in the region” the report added.
