President Barzani congratulates Muslims on Ramadan
In his statement on Ramadan released yesterday, Barzani said "I convey my warmest congratulations to all Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the world”.
"I hope this month to be filled with prosperity to the people of Kurdistan Region and Iraq in order to renew the spirit of brotherhood among them," he concluded.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting.
