Nechirvan Barzani, Kobler: Dialogue and understanding solve Baghdad-Erbil crisis
In a meeting between the two sides here, both sides discussed current political situations and Baghdad-Erbil relations.
In a statement by the Kurdish regional government, both sides stressed that "the current crisis needs a national solutions through dialogue".
Barzani confirmed that the Kurdish region is "ready to deal and discuss all conflicting issues through dialogue and understanding".
On the other side, Kobler stressed that the United Nations will exert all efforts to solve Iraqi problems and developing the political process in the country.
Baghdad-Erbil relations witnessed political, security and economic crises since the end of 2011; the last was the federal budget that incited the Kurds to suspend their participation in the Cabinet.
Since the beginning of this month, high ranking talks were conducted to solve the crisis, which is to be renewed after the provincial elections due next Saturday in 12 provinces.
