Pana center runs a project to empower the economic status of women
“(1200) women benefit from the project, we have tried to open educational courses for them with the cooperation of the directorate of education in Kirkuk, in this context, (320) women participated in the educational courses” she added.
She stated that their center helps women to get micro loans and establish small private businesses to make a living.
(Awezan Noori) also stated that the project lasts for 9 months and two workshops will be running per week, a part of the project will be implemented in the districts of the city.
She also said that they have started their projects titled (empowerment of widow women economically) since April, the purpose of the project is to let the women own their independent business.
