The Kurdistan region will continue to be safe for political process and peace situation, Iraqi Kurdistan Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani said on Sunday during a graduation ceremony of the Police University in Sulaymani city.

PM Barzani participated at the graduation ceremony of the fourth session of police academy in Sulaymani province with the presence of Emad Ahmed Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region.


PM Nechirvan Barazani stressed that the security of Kurdistan Region is the forces' responsibility and for that reason Kurdistan region government to improve and support police forces for their role in applying stability in the region which lead to motivate foreign companies and investors to come to the Region.


Prime Minister of Kurdistan emphasized the importance of the Police forces role in protecting Kurdistan Region and stressed that Kurdistan Regional Government keens to improve police sector.
