Salahaddin, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRP.org) – Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani yesterday met with Kurdish ministers and parliamentarians to decide on the position of the Kurdistan Region towards the political crisis facing the country and tensions between Erbil and Baghdad.

Today’s meeting, the 4th such gathering in the last few weeks, concluded with the decision to deliver to the leadership of the National Alliance coalition a letter containing specific requests for implementation. A delegation consisting of the representatives of all the major political sides in Kurdistan will deliver the letter, and the final position of the Kurdistan Region towards the political process will be contingent on the response of the National Alliance to this letter.
