Georgian Airlines Airzena starts flights to Kurdistan
Airzena (Georgian Airlines) has started flights to Erbil in the Iraqi territory of Kurdistan, Trend cites Mariam Kvrivishvili, deputy head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration. 600 tourists from Iraq visited Georgia in 2011, 7,000 in 2012. Flights will be made twice a week.

The first flight will have 70 passengers. Flights will be made twice a week with a one-way ticket worth $250 and two-way ticket $450.

Lavand Mamond, deputy head of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Agency, said that the flights were essential for Iraqis, because many states prohibited issuing of visas for the country.
