Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani, on Monday , in Saladin Resort , received Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad Yusuf Demrar along with Turkish Consul General in Kurdistan Region.

Both sides , at the meeting discussed ways to develop bilateral ties to serve interests of both Kurdish and Turkish peoples .

President Barzani , for his part , congratulated Turkish Ambassador on his new post , wishing him all the success .

President Barzani stressed the need to consolidate strategic ties between Kurdistan Region and Turkey in political , economic , commercial , development and investment.
