A Conference to Recognize Genocide committed by the Baathist regime against the Iraqi people, as crimes against the Humanity , will kick off on Wednesday 11, in London.

The event comes as a result of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) efforts , in coordination with the Federal Ministry of Human Rights , to recognize the former regime’s crimes against the Iraqi Kurds and Shiite, Head of the Legal Committee in the Iraqi Parliament Khalid Shwani , said in a press statement.

The Parliamentary Legal Committee , received an invitation to attend the conference which will be attended by a number of experts , political , academic figures , representatives of UN and Human Rights organizations, Shwani added.
