Kurdistan Parliament held a session on December 26, 2011, chaired by Dr. Kamal Kirkuki, the President of the Kurdistan Parliament, and Dr. Arsalan Baez ,the Vice President of the Parliament along with Mr. Firsat Ahmed, the Secretary of the Parliament. The session agenda included time for the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs to report to the Parliament on the Ministry activities. He responded to questions from MPs and provided clarifications about Ministry projects.

The remainder of the agenda set aside time for the presentation of five bills; however, following the report from the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, the President of the Parliament decided to postpone this until the next day.
