An improvised explosive device (IED), of 1 kilogram of TNT has been defused Tuesday near Malik (King)Mahmoud Street, in the City of Sulaimani.

The Asaish (security ) Directorate in Sulaimani, in a statement , copy received by PUKmedia , announced that the Asaish forces were able to defuse an improvised explosive device of 1 kilogram of TNT in the area between Lolan Company and a store selling tractors.

The TNT explosive device was placed in an iron box filled with small metal balls metal and was set to be detonated by remote control, the statement added.
