Kurdistan region delegation paid on Wednesday a visit to political bureau of the Al-Sadr bloc in Baghdad, where they were received by some senior officials of Al-Sadr bloc.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to promote and strengthen bilateral relations between them, finding suitable ways to solve outstanding issues among Iraqi political factions.

They reaffirmed the importance of keeping the unity and fraternity among Iraqi people in a bid to success Iraqi political process, stressing on addressing the problems through dialogue and negotiation.

Kurdistan delegation consisted of ‌Mala Bakhtiyar, head of the Active Body in the Politburo of PUK, Fazil Mirani, KDP politburo secretary, Fouad Massum, head of the Kurdistan Coalition Block in the Iraqi parliament, Fuad Hussein, Chief of Staff of the Kurdistan Region Presidency and Dindar Najman Shaifiq, Iraq's Minister of Immigration & Immigrants.
