Ranya Cultural Hall Inaugurated with Modern Facilities and a Budget of 2.643 Billion Dinars

Ranya, Kurdistan Region – A state-of-the-art cultural hall has been officially opened in Ranya, marking a significant milestone for the region's cultural and artistic infrastructure. The project, built on a 13,600-square-meter area, was completed with a budget of 2 billion and 643 million dinars.
The Ranya Cultural Hall boasts modern designs and cutting-edge facilities, including advanced heating and cooling systems, sound and lighting systems, and a range of other services. The hall is expected to serve as a hub for cultural and artistic activities, hosting theater festivals, operas, poetry recitals, music concerts, and song festivals.
Hiwa Mustafa, Director of Culture and Arts in Raparin, highlighted the importance of the project, stating, "This hall will become a beautiful addition to the region's cultural and artistic landscape. It will provide a platform for various artistic events and contribute to the enrichment of the local cultural scene."
The opening of the hall has been met with enthusiasm by artists and intellectuals in Ranya, who have long awaited such a facility. The inaugural event, held on March 5th, featured a music and song concert to commemorate the anniversary of the 1991 uprising, symbolizing the hall's role in celebrating the region's history and culture.
Despite ongoing economic and political challenges, the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government remains committed to advancing service projects and improving the lives of citizens across the region. The Ranya Cultural Hall stands as a testament to the government's dedication to fostering cultural and artistic development in the Kurdistan Region.
