Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, participated in the voting process for the sixth session of the Kurdistan Parliament today in Erbil. Following his vote, President Barzani issued a public statement urging all eligible citizens to cast their ballots, emphasizing the importance of participating in the democratic process.

"I call on all citizens who have the right to vote to exercise this fundamental right," Barzani said. He stressed that by taking part in the elections, voters contribute to the success of the Kurdistan Region as a whole. "In the voting process, the Kurdistan Region is the winner," he added.

With over 2.6 million eligible voters casting their ballots across the region in constituencies including Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, and Halabja, today's election is seen as pivotal in shaping the future of the Kurdistan Region.
