President Nechirvan Barzani met with US Congressman Seth Moulton in Erbil on Friday. Both sides exchanged views about further strengthening the relationship between the United States, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region.

President Nechirvan Barzani expressed appreciation for the continued support from the United States, highlighting its critical role in assisting the Kurdistan Region. In response, congressman Moulton emphasized that the US Congress remains committed to supporting the Kurdistan Region as a valued ally.

The meeting, also attended by the US Consul General in Erbil, focused on several key topics such as the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, relationship between Erbil and Baghdad, reforms within the Peshmerga Ministry, and recent developments in the Middle East.
