Turkey's Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has blocked access to the popular instant messaging platform Discord, following a recent court ruling. The move was confirmed by the country’s infotech regulator on Wednesday.

The decision comes as part of ongoing government efforts to regulate digital platforms. While the specific reason for the court's ruling remains unclear, it is part of a broader trend of increasing online restrictions in Turkey.

Discord, widely used for gaming, social networking, and communication, joins a growing list of platforms that have faced temporary or permanent bans in the country.
