KRG Announces $100 Million Cancer Hospital in Erbil
Erbil, Kurdistan Region — On September 18, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced the construction of a state-of-the-art 150-bed cancer hospital in Erbil, representing a significant investment of over $100 million.
This landmark project, a collaboration between the government, private sector, and philanthropists, aims to improve cancer treatment and support patients locally. The new facility will offer advanced care and reduce the need for patients to seek treatment abroad.
